SSAA — Bangrak Riverview

Situated on the banks of Chao Phraya river, Bangrak Riverview is a new addition to the design district of Bangrak. Nested amid dominant skyscrapers, our design proposed three modest horizontal volumes that are shifted from each other and are set parallel to the riverfront. As mentioned, the view of the river is maximized through careful composition of building mass, and with floor-to-ceiling glazing, the interior space is airy and filled with natural light. In terms of functional use, the one-storey volume closest to the river serves as a waiting terminal for the cross-river boat, while the other two-storey volumes are for retail spaces and restaurants. With the coming of this development,we hope that this new addition will activate the riverfront plaza and become a new recreational and vibrant retail space for all.
